BUILDING OPPORTUNITY FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

PUBLIC SAFETY
I recently met with leadership from the Corpus Christi Police Officers Association to address their top needs for District 1. One thing is clear if we expect our police and fire to protect us, we must fully support them.
I am a strong advocate for Police, Fire, and EMS and will fight to ensure they are properly staffed, trained, and equipped to respond when seconds matter. Public safety starts with backing the men and women on the front lines not just in words, but through action and funding.
As your council member, I will continue building strong relationships with our first responders and make sure they have a seat at the table when decisions are made.

BUILDING OUR FUTURE
I’ve been proud to work alongside Calallen ISD and Tuloso-Midway ISD to support infrastructure grant efforts that strengthen our schools and prepare them for long-term growth. Investing in our schools isn’t just about buildings it’s about creating environments where students can succeed and communities can thrive.
Just as important to me is investing in our students. I’ve spent time engaging with students to help them understand real-world career paths, especially in technical and professional fields that are critical to the future of Corpus Christi. By sharing knowledge, mentorship, and guidance, I’m committed to helping the next generation see what’s possible and giving them the tools to get there.
Strong schools, modern infrastructure, and prepared students are the foundation of a strong city. I will continue to support partnerships that bring resources into our districts and open doors for our young people because when we invest in them, we invest in the future of Corpus Christi.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
I recently met with the North Beach Community Association to discuss key concerns, opportunities, and the path forward including a preview of the Aquarium’s planned Wildlife Resiliency Campus, a transformative project that has the potential to redefine North Beach.
North Beach isn’t just another part of our city it’s a hidden gem with untapped potential. For me, it’s personal. I grew up spending time there with my family, and later, as a student, it’s where I supported my now-husband while he served as a Beach Lifeguard. Those experiences shaped my connection to this community.
That’s why I’m committed to more than just preserving North Beach I’m committed to revitalizing and investing in it. I will be a strong advocate for smart development, beautification, and long-term growth that honors its history while building a stronger future.
